The proposed project is for a facility that will host the following:

  6. Entrepreneurship Development Programs (EDP)

  8. Authoring & Publishing Training and Development Programs (ADP)

The business model is to provide world-class infrastructure and hospitality while hosting training programmes for corporate clients.

The initiative has tremendous potential in an area where there are no large rivals, as more and more corporate entities use new methods for training and orientation of their employees. The connected industries, including other infrastructure, are an inevitable avenue for expansion of the state's IT friendly environment, which the Kerala government is actively pushing.

Wayanad, as the planned location, has a pleasant climate and is close to major airports such as Calicut, Mysore, and Bangalore International Airports. This location has a significant geographical advantage and can be called an year-round destination.

What is a management development programme?

Management or executive development is a prominent area of human resource management. Management Development Programme (MDP) is a course designed to strengthen the relationship between managers at all levels (subordinate to executive management). The aim of this programme is to transform managers belonging to intermediate management level into successful leaders. This enables employees at a managerial level to gain the ability to motivate others, thereby, allowing them to effectively manage their teams.

Objectives of a management development programme

  • Inducing capabilities to supervise, organise, plan, lead and motivate thereby, enhancing knowledge and skills;
  • Developing mutual trust, cooperation and understanding to foster teamwork;
  • Improving decision-making abilities with regards to customer satisfaction, relation with employees and vendors and productivity of the organisation;
  • Ensuring personal growth which involves increasing the tenure of managerial employees and shaping their future career by giving them the space to grow;
  • Developing succession plans to generate future managerial positions within the organisation;

Outbound Training - OBT

The Outbound Training is a technique used to enhance the efficiency of employees through Experiential Learning. In other words, taking the group of employees away from the actual work environment into the outdoors and are assigned some challenging task or activity that needs to be completed by them within a given time frame.

8 training classrooms will be provided for the training center with ergonomic learner facilities and high speed Internet, audio and visual aids.

Outbound Training facility

The center will be equipped to conduct the standard outbound training facilities approved and directed by the health and safety norms facilitated by experts.

Library

Centre will be equipped with books, journals, publications and soft copies with Kindle supported documents to facilitate learners.

IT and Communication

The Centre is equipped with high-speed internet connected computer lab with 60 computers and Wi-Fi enabled infrastructure to facilitate learning and training

The Promoters

GOVIND DEECEE, aged 28 years is the key promoter of the project.

He did his under graduate education from the prestigious Syracuse University, New York with cum laude. He has dual degrees in Economics and Transmedia. He is one of the key facilitator behind the "Kerala Literature Festival" since 2016.

SIDDARTH DEECEE, aged 24 years is a graduate in business administration from Singapore.

He has experience in the field of Retail, Publishing and Media.

He has travelled extensively for participating in fairs related to Book Industry, Retail .etc.
